The maximum cutting capacity of this product is for wood with a diameter of up to 10 mm.  General garden maintenance tools for planting and gardening.  Please note that cutting anything other than plants or using it in an improper manner may cause damage.  *Shrubs, artificial flowers, wire, and bamboo cannot be cut.

After use, we recommend wiping off any dirt on the main body (especially the blade) and storing it in a toolbox or indoors. When wiping off dirt, use knife oil (sewing machine oil is also fine) to protect the main body and make it less likely to rust.  If you want to resharpen the blade yourself, please use a special whetstone and sharpener. *We also sell whetstones suitable for scissors.

The T-8CA are traditional designed for general garden use. ideal for pruning branches,roses,ikebana, flower and houseplants.
each piece is hand forged and sharpened using traditional methods. as such ,each tool has its own variations ans irregularity. they are all handmade in japan.
